Summary:
Multi-tasking is the word that describes this job. Not only will you manage the procurement and handling of materials, but you will schedule production and identify and implement process improvement opportunities for logistics and packaging.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer the materials management, purchasing, production scheduling systems, and shipping and receiving operations in a cost effective manner
Maintain customer data and ensure reporting requirements and contract compliance
Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of all records for inventory, shipping, production scheduling, customer release requirements and purchasing
Ensure timely delivery of all finished goods as per customer requirements and meet customer delivery performance rating criteria
Manage the supply base to ensure consistent flow of defect free material

Team player who understands interdependence of supply chain
