Summary:
Managing the financial or Business Intelligence systems on a day to day basis is a balance of defining needs for both your internal and external customers and implementing systems to fill the need. In this role, your task will include analysis and design, development, programming, testing, documentation, and implementation and maintenance of major IT projects and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Plan and communicate the strategic direction for the systems in alignment with organizational needs, including establishing standards and controls within the IT department
Responsible for project plans including development, program specifications, detail design documents and relative technical guidance
Communicate to key stakeholders regarding project progress and problems, particularly as to needed changes in schedule, resources and products
Develop, organize and execute system test plans and evaluates the results of the program and procedure tests
Review and assist in the preparation of system documentation and the training of the users
Oversee the ongoing maintenance of the designated business systems within the multiple functional areas assigned
